origins and guilty pleasures: "The year was 2001, an unforgettable year. Who can forget 9/11 and where exactly they were when the gruesome events occurred. For me, I was in beautiful Ibiza, my first time ever… as a lover of club culture and dancing. It was on this trip where I decided I needed to explore the art of DJing, and when I was finally able to return home to my beloved home, NYC, I purchased a pair of Technics. For the first time in my life I felt like I belonged somewhere, and found people of my kind, with the same vibration! Although my musical tastes have dramatically progressed, developed, and evolved through these years. I still remember fondly the music that brought me here In the first place! As cheesy as they may sound, I’d like to dedicate this “out of my ordinary” mix to all you clubbers who knew this beautiful era 2000-2004 when people actually danced! I give thanks to this music that brought me on this journey. I am so lucky to be a part of this global family!"
